Who we are
“Then the Lord God took the man and put him into the garden of Eden to cultivate it and keep it.” — Genesis 2:15
At Gautreaux Family Farms, we believe farming isn’t just a job — it’s a calling. Inspired by God’s instruction in Genesis 2:15, our family sees working the land as an act of stewardship.
Our farm, nestled in Friendswood, Texas, is small by design but abundant in purpose. Every part of what we do — from gathering eggs at sunrise to pulling weeds by hand or harvesting ripe tomatoes in the heat of summer — is done with prayerful intention and a desire to serve others through the fruits of our labor.
Rooted in faith and family values, we aim to produce food the way it was meant to be: clean, simple, and nourishing. We don’t use synthetic chemicals or take shortcuts. Our chickens are raised on non-GMO feed and fresh pasture, our produce grows in rich, chemical-free soil, and our honey is raw, unfiltered, and full of natural goodness. What we sell is what we serve at our own table.
But more than what we grow, it's why we grow it that defines us. We want to help people reconnect with real food — food you can trust, made by hands you know. Whether you’re picking up a dozen golden-yolked eggs, a basket of just-picked vegetables, or a jar of honey straight from the hive, we hope you feel a deeper connection to the land and to the Creator who made it all.
Thank you for supporting our farm and being part of this growing story. We're honored to share the harvest with your family.
